Yokoso Hengeyokai!

Anime Weekend Atlanta? @ 26 Aug 2008 06:07 pm

I might be going. I just might. I mean... What if I get slammed by fans? 'Glomped' by sweaty fangirls?

Hmm...

Either way, a lot of people are taking well to Kurosaki. So I'm doing a little bit of love for him. One question per person and I'll do what I can to make a silly little strip answering that question. <3

I Live at a Horse Ranch @ 16 Aug 2008 12:09 pm

So right now I'm at a friends house riding horses and dodging dogs {I'm more of a cat person}. I will updated later on Sunday since I don't have school. I hope to get sixty pages up by the end of this month... I've met a lot of people on here and am happy to see members enjoying my work no matter how terrible the pages are. I'll do better in the future, I promise.

Other than that, people have grown to love Mamoru Ohto a lot so I should post some information about it since his back story won't be around for a while.

Here we go~ Information on Mamoru:

Mamoru Ohto was once the bad boy of his school. He spoke out in class and was known to walk out whenever he felt like it. After these actions you’d probably see him reading a book just outside the building or on the roof. It was well known that he liked getting into fights but rarely picked on smaller students. Because of this he was more respected than feared. Mamoru surprisingly had very good grades except for Math. He excelled in history and language but was terrible in anything that involved calculations. He was often seen walking to school and during lunch he was known to idle off in the hallways looking for trouble. Because of his thrill seeking he would often have bandages on his face and body.
During his last year of Junior High, Mamoru met a strange person who was seen as the prince of high schools. This person had perfect scores, good looks and was very athletic. Though Mamoru wanted to think of this person as a show off, he couldn’t help but admire their skills. Once in a while he would come in contact with this person but in the end they weren’t allowed much time together.
It’s been said that his father was a librarian and his mother was a bartender at a local restaurant. Though, the truth is that his father owned four large restaurants and one café and book store while his mother worked as manager to two of the restaurants. During his second year of high school his mother ran off with a wealthier man when his fathers businesses suddenly plummeted to failure. Because of this his father committed suicide leaving any left over wealth to the mother who quickly forgot her children in favor of a rich life. During this time Mamoru worked while going to school in order to take care of his younger sister, Momo.
While looking for a new job at a local bar, Mamoru got into a fight with an older teen. Though, this person fought dirty and called several friends to fight his fight. Mamoru was ganged up on but was soon rescued by two passerbies. Upon saving the young rebel, the two revealed themselves to be Nobu and Hideyoshi Ashikaga. Mamoru recognized one of them, Nobu, to be the upper classmen that he admired several years before. Because Mamoru recognized Nobu, he was offered a job at their family’s café and bakery. After a month or two he introduced Momo to the business when he saw the youngest brother learning from the meister in the kitchen. Soon the two siblings grew close to the Ashikaga family and have been faithful ever since.

There's Spirits in the Cafe @ 11 Aug 2008 07:40 am

Ahh. The first two- three? Three pages? I suppose. Forgive me for the quality. I'll have someone to color these wretches as soon as possible. Though, a few things about this little piece before I continue.

Hikaru's last name, Ashikaga, comes from a Shogunate family. The fact that his family now owns a cafe shows how different the time periods are as well as the lifestyle of shogunate families. You'd think a warrior class family would practice kendo... though now their youngest son is the type that kneads dough. A lot of things are least expected and at the same time ironic- but that's life. I'd rather not go for stereotypes in what I write...

To make a few things clear... Kyoto is known for it's Geisha district and contains a few Host Clubs{The buildings aren't the prettiest things in the world... but...} so while the story goes on in Kyoto keep in mind that there will not only be references to Geisha and hosts but Kabuki Theater and all the sorts of Mystical creatures that could appear. Personally, I like the gaki. Therefore, if there is a word you do not understand please google it before asking 'What's a tennin?'

Other than that- no I don't take too well to boasting what a story is about and gloating that 'Hay this comic isn't shonen ai and it is like SO popular.' Newsflash, people. Twilight was/is popular and the entire thing is still terrible. <3

Love, Tamasaburo-kun

PS. I'm putting some Hirado love in here too.
